TRIP DESCRIPTION:                 We rented cabins at the Moab Valley RV resort. Cabins are in a secured gated area with laundry facilities, bike wash area, BBQ, cable T.V. mini fridge, playground, hot tub and yes, a swimming pool! You can see the cabins at: http://www.moabvalleyrv.com/.  OAP will offer a schedule of activities for you to pick and choose from, or you can you can just take advantage of the cheap transportation and lodging and do your own thing if you wish. If you want to see what else Moab has to offer, do a Google search on Moab and pick your pleasure. The OAP schedule is as follows: Sunday everyone meets at Outdoor Rec. Moab arrival time around 5pm, unpack; go into town for shopping and food. Monday go to Gemini Bridges; these twin natural bridges span hundreds of feet over the valley below, and the cool thing is that you can walk or ride your bike across them. After you explore the bridges continue biking down from the bridges. This is a great ride to “check your skills”. Other activates will include an easier bike ride and a more challenging bike ride offered each day, as well as a full day going into Arches National Park. Thursday is the last day, but your adventure isn’t over yet. We’ll pack up, head into town for a great breakfast and then hit the road. About the time we pass through Glenwood Springs you will be ready to get out and stretch your legs, and so you will. We will drop some of you off near the Hanging Lake trail head. Ride up to the trail and back or just enjoy an awesome ride through Glenwood Canyon. Back in Glenwood Springs we will pick up the bikers, grab a bite to eat and head on home.
